I don't get it

Installed it, played it, hated it.

The weapons were pretty similar, not a lot of variation. The gameplay was clunky. The graphics were Meh and I was running on highest settings.

Someone want to explain this game to me, cos I was highly unimpressed.

Well I cant say what to like or not!
But for me took a week to learn everything so you can play it with automatic sence like rtcw. I find it rather fun there for a whileplayed about 160hours, I did test it again after a 4 weeks break and new patch 1.4 was realesed yesterday. Suddenly the fun was gone again, maybe later after a while playing it will be fun again.

Like cod4 was fun for 2 weeks, nothing much of new expept perks some new weapons, and a modern face still same game otherwise, Oh we added Shoot true walls instead of wall hack.
And my xp boot broke down, and have to begin fo the 2th time to get stats up again, REALLY REALLY BAD! That Cod doesent have a masterserver that record such a thing.

Re: I don't get it

lol stats are recorded locally on your pc in cod4 m8, if you don't want to lose them you can back them up

You are not wrong about neither of them being anything new though. The trouble is I think I prefer regular ET to quake wars and I prefer RTCW to ET, so it's lose lose.

I dunno the game just didn't feel finished to me. It felt kind of lacklustre. Plus the whole lack of single player missions, I don't care how many games do it, is just lazy and cheap. Do a single player and a multiplayer ffs not just a bot version of the multiplayer to play when you are too poor to pay the internet bill...

I agree with Parrot. ETQW is a mystery to me. I find it cartoonish, unimpressive graphically and a total waste of time.

Some people love it, and that's fine...but man, they couldn't convince me to like it if they held a gun to my head.

Total head-scratcher to me.

Re: I don't get it

To be honest it feels much more like a free game than ET if you know what I mean...

Re: I don't get it

First time playing it I had fun. But then after I figured out the classes and weapons. Which is quick btw. I got bored with it. Maybe it's just my LCD screen but it seemed almost fuzzy for some reason. They should be shot for asking Around $40.00 for it. It's more the a $19.99 game.
